I thought about this piece in the second game of tonight’s doubleheader against the Pirates. Lester’s 8th inning seemed to me to be his “extra” inning. And then he came out and did it again in the 9th. If Lester can bring ace material in the postseason, he and Arrieta are a scary 1-2 punch.
