Heyward can play CF. I am guessing Gordon could as well. They both have always played on teams with good defensive players in CF so there has never been a need for them to play there regularly.

He makes sense if we move Soler and Gordon is willing to play RF. I’m of the belief that no one is expendable, but trading Schwarber would be a tall order. I’ve always been a big fan of Gordon, but I’m not sure how he fits in the grand scheme of things

Good questions from Bill. Gordon and Heyward both are elite corner outfielder and the Cubs need appears to be CF and short term. Don’t see how Gordon, Heyward, Zobrist make sense.

My question is, who would Gordon replace–Schwarber?, Soler? Would he actually add more wins than one of these two? And for how long?
