You really have to go all of the way back to 2009 to find a season in which he pitched a fairly even amount of games between first and second half. No question he has had some late-season durability issues. Definitely something to keep an eye on, as the Cubs depth could come in handy. To answer your question, he didn&#039;t see a velocity dip in 2009, no.
