I’ve known enough years of misery to feel a curse might be real, but if time has taught me anything it’s that the poor ownership and front office decisions for the Cubs through the years had a lot more to do with our losing than bad luck. Sure, we had some tough breaks along the way, but that’s baseball. The extreme lack of opportunities due to rarely ever making the playoffs had more to do with our misery than bad luck.

I think we all agree that this ownership and FO team have figured out what sustainable success is and how to create it. This is not the Cub’s team I grew up rooting for. It’s something much, much better!
