A few corrections I’d like to suggest:
1) The record of 214 hits was not a rookie record. It was the Nippon Professional Baseball record (which was previously held by Ichiro but was broken in 2015).
2) “Hanshin” is not a city or even a prefecture in Japan, so if you say “in Hanshin” it’s kind of wrong. I would perhaps say “in the Kansai region that Hanshin calls its home” – all NPB teams are named after the company that owns them.
