Walk rate. Javy needs to raise his walk rate. If he doesn't I'll be getting irate.

Seriously, that is probably the only long-term weakness I see for Javy. Among qualifiers for the batting title, the lowest walk rate in the league was 3.1%. Javy's was 3.3%. If he can mature in that respect, he will be a force.

Of course, even if he doesn't improve his walk rate, he will probably still end up slightly above average as a hitter, which is good enough given his fielding.

2 years in a row Javy has surprised with MLB historic-like improvement, despite proclamations of doom by many.

Javy's personality is indeed the key. And he's already shown that he CAN adjust. He even boasted in the NLDS about how his attitude changes.

Maturity will do nothing but make Javy better IMHO. I'd be shocked if he doesn't become the 2nd base starter by May - regardless of what Zo expects. As long as Manny Ramirez continues to work with him, I expect to see his 2016 regular season stats as his floor, with spikes of amazing greatness.

It's hard for me to beat up Javy for a reversion to "old Javy" and ignore the fact that Addison looked like "old Addison" in the NLDS. Sure, you want to end well - but it's not like Javy hasn't show he can get carried away and make adjustments.

Guess who had the better PLAYOFF OPS between Zo and Javy? (yep. the MLB tatted Puerto Rican)
