The more guys like you get the truth out there, the harder it will be to realize obvious truths: 1) if Heyward plays at all, he must bat 8th or 9th—he’s abundantly earned it; 2) the opportunity cost of playing him is too high (Schwarber, AA, Happ, Baez all potentially harmed any day he’s in the lineup; 3) putting he and Zo in the lineup together is LETHAL—and was all last year; 4) Heyward is the 11th man among position players on this team (Zo 12th); and 5) Joe hasta “find”(or not) occasional AB for Heyward —not instead “finding” them for far better hitters.
