This game already has enough of them just because of the sheer level of difficulty involved in being a pro hitter. The fact that we have pitchers bat is annoying.

I understand tradition and I get the reactionary responses associated with talk of that change. Mostly, I hate the fact that AL teams have the upper hand when playing NL teams. The DH gives AL clubs a competitive advantage via a deeper lineup. Its stupid.

but why stop there? Let there be hitters and letter there be fielders, and let there be no overlap between them. the logic of excluding pitchers is the same logic as applies to excluding shortstops and catchers.
